Cold Crisis!

Huh? What? WHAAAAAT?! It's official. Santa has been kidnapped and held captive somewhere. The North Pole and its festive inhabitants of elf snowmen and gingerbread men are in shock. It's up to the heroes to save Christmas and find Santa before its too late!

Snow was found everywhere in the North Pole, no dip. But that huge white cold blanket of snow and ice layered across the land hid something much more sinister beneath. Turmoil was widespread throughout the poles. Elfs, Snowmen, and Gingerbread men alike were all in mourning of the terrible tragedy that had just happened. It was so bad that even the Elfs were free off from work which left them confused since that was like the only thing they did besides elf things. What is a elf to do without labor? Others had taken it to the streets in protest to the tragedy. But there is one place that was bustling with activity. The Police department. The few that weren't dealing with riots were special D9 units trained with special reindeer to sniff out anything naughty.

Deep in a cave most of the snowmen were plotting. All surrounding a massive clump of snow while throwing pieces of chocolate and twigs in it, chanting in primal grunts. Around them were offering to the clump which includes: mutilated elf corpses, reindeer horns, shredded up mistletoe, all hung around candy canes that stood at 9ft tall. A large pentagram lay underneath the clum ...What kind of ritual was this?

The Gingerbread men oh the Gingerbread men what would we do without them? As of right now they've taken to the streets and are seizing their chance to send a message without fear of being eaten by Santa. Every year the landlord takes a "share" of their earnings by eating some of their house. Enough was enough! They looted stores, started fires, and worst of all. Stashed away every single last graham cracker the North had seen.

Adding on to all of this...Peppermint portals of red and white appeared in the riots, in the cave, the elf workplace and slums, the Polar express, Keebler elf treehouse, and a cluster of igloos where racist nutcrackers were in the process of deporting Eskimos.

Who would find santa?

Directly inside the train station that the Polar Express visited, a peppermint portal appeared and spat out a girl wearing a typical school uniform with dark purple hair with purple eyes to match. She stumbled for a bit, then placed her hand against a wall to regain her balance.
"Wha... where am I? Where is everyone?"
The girl's breath suddenly sped up as she began to worry.

Next to the purple hair girl, another peppermint portal appears and spits out a familiar face, one with short pink hair. "Ugh...wh...where are we?"

Meanwhile, in the cave with the ritual Snowmen, a peppermint portal appears and a teen girl with short blond hair gets spat out. She has a few firearms on her, as well as a switchblade and a metal pipe, with a backpack to store it all.

The girl turned around upon hearing the voice, her breathing gradually slowing.
"Oh... h-hello, Natsuki..."

"Yuri...? Where are we?" Natsuki looks around, suddenly aware that this is not anywhere she recognized.

The girl, whose name was apparently Yuri, sighed heavily.
"I'm... not that sure."

"And why is it so cold here?"  Natsuki huffed.

Yuri walked to a window and peeked outside. Her eyes widened.
"Well, we're certainly not anywhere near the Literature Club..."

The polar express began to lurch forward...Despite there being no crew or fuel at all. What the what.

Out of one of those swirling peppermint portals - more specifically, the one in the elf workplace - comes a girl who is wholly unprepared for the cold. She lets out a yelp upon being spat out, getting up from the floor with a shiver.

"Ugh...why is it so cold? I've never felt this cold, even on Mount Sumeru..." She shakes her head, adjusting her blue skirt and getting it to fall to a bit above her knees rather than a third of the way down her thigh. "Any of you know where this place is?"

Silence.

"...guys?" Looking concerned, she then takes a moment to stand completely still, closing her eyes and holding her hands in a meditative pose as a soft glow surrounds her. Then her eyes snap open. "They're gone! I mean, I guess it's good that they're not stranded here with me, but I have no idea where they are if they're not in my head! Oh, this is not good..."

With a white glow, an axe materializes in her hands and she walks forward, looking around the place warily.

Ah, and another schoolgirl falls out of a portal next to Yuri and Natsuki - just in time!

This one is a brunette, though, and has a white bow in her hair.

"COME BACK YOU SLIMY LOCOMOTIVE PIECE OF SHIT!" A short teen wearing black and orange screams at the train as it picks up speed and easily outpaces the teens running. He slams himself on the ground and starts to punch it. Someones mad.

"Damn it...That was my one and only ticket out of here, fuck. Maybe I can get directions from a local or some- The teen, Narancia, stops dead in his tracks when he sees the schoolgirls.

"ˢᶜᵒʳᵉ" Narancia mutters under his breath as his runs towards the girls, wiping as much snow as he can off his shoulders.

"Hey ladies...We're all gonna freeze to death soon if we don't do something! That means we all have to huddle very close together! C'mon!" Narancia thinks his plan his foolproof. Seems to have forgotten the fact that he just had a tantrum over the train.

"Monika?"  Natsuki glanced at the brown-haired girl, before her attention is drawn to the tantrum teen, narrowing her eyes.

Meanwhile, in the elf workplace, a peppermint portal opens and three people, one male with short white-hair, two females, one with shorter white hair and one with long white hair and wearing black outfits that look like they were made for combat all get spat out.

This is all next to the girl.

Yuri quickly turned around, her face very red.
"Wh-what?!"
She seemed to not have noticed Monika.
