at least make an effort to be consistent with everyone else
don't have ruby magically appear in a forest despite her being in a city thousands of miles away from any forest
and by the same logic, don't try to make ruby's demeanor completely different from the way everyone else is making her demeanor
no one likes a character unjustifiably changed to have multiple personality disorder

i will arbitrarily decide how well people play ruby
that's pretty much it

If all her friends really are gone, if the Grimm, creatures of darkness and destruction, are all that's left...

She might as well make sure they can't hurt anyone else.
