Directly on top of one of the hills, a rift appeared in the air and a humanoid figure fell from it, landing on the ground below with a quiet "oof". After a few seconds, the figure pushed itself up to its feet and brushed her pale purple jacket off, tensely running a hand over her breasts.

"Hm... seems like Shouta's magic has finally worked for once. With unintended side effects."

She stared intently at the ground, attempting to will the rift into reappearing, but nothing came of it. She frowned.

"That's very odd..."

Fifteen feet away from that humanoid figure, a light blue light illuminates the air, and when it fades, a thin, pale woman with a smooth white stone in her head is in its place, seemingly suspended in the air a few inches off the ground...

An illusion that's very quickly broken when gravity takes its hold and she falls flat on her face with an undignified yelp.

Groaning, she gets up on her knees, brushing some dirt off her nose before standing up and looking around. "What on earth...? This isn't Little Homeworld at all! Or any place I recognize, for that matter."

She takes a few steps forward, her gaze becoming more analytical. "An abandoned Gem project, maybe? This place looks practically untouched, and if Homeworld wasn't able to do anything here, they'd probably disable the warp pad to prevent any workers from coming here by accident, which would explain why I've never seen it before...but not why the warp pad in the temple is suddenly connecting to this place..."

She places a finger on her chin and looks down, thinking over it for a few moments...and then looking up with a smile and a shrug. "Oh well! Nothing a little maintenance won't fix! After a few thousand years, there's liable to be a glitch or two - I'll just head back to the temple, look at the warp pad for a few hours, maybe see if Peridot can lend a hand for..."

And then she turns around and notices a glaring issue that had, up to this point, completely escaped her notice.

"...why isn't there a warp pad here?" She asks herself, her smile suddenly seeming a lot more tense.

Somewhere within thirty feet of those people, four rifts open up.
The first, a cloud of mist, and when it fades, a delinquent-looking girl with a torn up coat around her shoulders stands there... carrying a blood-stained knife...? As well as a baseball bat, in a weapon bag, on her back.
She looks around, and sighs.
“This isn’t the Demon Realm Oka told me about...”
A loud shattering sound came nearby her, as she looked to see:
From the second rift, which had been parallel to the ground, a fragile block of ice hurled itself at maximum velocity, shattering into many shards upon contact.
From the ruins of what had once been his Castle, the Archmage of Ice, Permafrost, stood, and looked around. Judging.
From the third rift, well, it was massive. Titanic in scale, even. And from that, a vaguely spider-like machine dropped, clearly inact-
Oh no it’s active now. Its flames lit up, and the rift closed above it. It’s here now, what of it?
And from the fourth, stepped Sterling. Jim Sterling, the former Video Games Journalist, who had through unknown means become a magic user that sought vengeance upon the murderer of the Great Papyrus.
He’d seen the one responsible, but the rift had gotten in his way, so he had to step through, and thus he was stuck here. Great.

(Actually, i'd like to swap Belladonna for Buttercup (technically they're the same character, just from different points in time, but still) please)

Another rift opens next to the figure. A teenage boy, covered in strange markings and lacking a shirt, gets launched out of the portal, followed by a small fairy-like being that was the size of the boy's arm.

The woman stepped forward again, focusing harder on the space where she wanted the rift to reappear... and nothing. She impatiently tapped her foot on the ground as she looked around and subsequently spotted the teenage boy next to her.

"Oh, hello! I didn't see you there!"

In the skies, a small portal appeared and ejected a ginger-haired lady with green eyes, who quickly began to propel herself via jets on the heels of her black boots. She tilted her head as she looked downward at the people below her.

"Salu-... tations?"

The teenage boy looked rather confused when he looked around. "...hello." He settled on the woman in front of him.

The fairy creature fluttered up next to the boy. "Ugh, wh-huh, where are we?" She looked upward and gasped. "Kagutsuchi...is gone?" Where could they be?

The thin pale woman gets a companion after another portal opens and ejects a woman with snow-white hair and with very pale skin, for a human. Her eyes were a golden color and her clothes were torn around the edges. It looked to be a white dress or skirt that had been damaged beyond repair. In her hand was a massive axe that was about the size of her body.

The first thing Permafrost saw when he emerged from his ancient prison that had once been his home, was that the remains of it were flying out in all directions, as great shards of ice all around.
The first thing he did, was raise his hand, causing them all to halt in mid-air.
Then, the hand went down, as did the shards, causing no harm to anyone present, though perhaps giving them cause for fear.
Well, at least two people were in fear right now:
Osoro had backed away from the initial outburst of the ice shards, but when they stopped and the Archmage was clearly visible, she was in awe.
As was Jim Sterling, yet only momentarily, as he then looked around at all the other people there, not recognising anyone there.
“Great. Just what have I gotten myself into...” he muttered, darkly, but quietly at that, so that only he could hear it.
All the meanwhile, there is a titanic machine that is on fire standing around menacingly. Why it was not doing anything was a mystery to all but it: it did not sense any threat to the Astral... it suddenly realised that it wasn’t in the Astral Infection, either.
It looked at all those who were there, seeing none of them as significant threats to it, and thus its flames went out, and it lowered its position.

The pale woman doesn't initially notice her company, instead solely focused on the lack of a "warp pad," whatever that is.

She laughs nervously to herself a bit, then holds out her hand in front of the stone in her head and...has said stone produce a phone somehow? "It's fine, it's fine! I'll just call the others, and we can get this all-and there's no service."

She takes a deep breath, then lets it out, putting her phone back in the stone (somehow). "Alright, new plan - find a human settlement, then find a way to contact the others from there! Easy! Just need to get my bearings fi..."

The pale woman looks up, and she sees the flying girl, cutting her talk to herself short as she stares in complete shock. It is at this point it registers to her that she heard something land next to her earlier, and she turns to see the white-haired girl.

She simply...stares for a moment, one of her hands idly running over the stone in her head as if checking for something, before letting out a long, tired sigh. "...so, this is the way my day is going to go, then."

Meanwhile, the as-of yet unnamed woman, the teenage boy, and the fairy can all hear a soft thump. Probably rather easy to ignore, considering the circumstances they're in at the moment, but it's there.

Less easy to ignore is the snoring that follows afterwards. Very loud snoring.

The source? A teenage girl with green skin, green hair, a ripped purple shirt, and ripped jean shorts, with the latter having a belt with a skull buckle wrapped around it. She's clinging to what seems to be a large sofa cushion like one would a teddy bear, sleeping rather peacefully near the bottom of the hill in spite of the fall she just took.

The woman opened her mouth as if about to say something, then paused to look around herself for the source of the snoring. After about five seconds, she turned back to face the boy.

"I'm Quetzalcoatl. Everyone I know calls me Lucoa, though. Do you have a name?"

The redhead girl quickly glided downwards, coming to a stop nearby the machine.

Speaking of redheads, there was another one on the ground, confusedly looking up at the sky. His hair was styled in such a way that it completely covered his right eye, and in his right hand was a grey cane with a white handle and a red bottom.

"...Naoki." The teenage boy nodded. "Most call me the Demi-fiend." He turned toward the snoring noise. As soon as he did, Lucoa could see a small dark spike jutting out the back of the boy's neck.

"And I'm Pixie!" The fairy creature said.

"Oh, hello." The white-haired woman tilted her head at the pale woman. "Where are we?" How the hell is she so calm?

A teenage girl with dark hair and green eyes gets shot out of a portal next to the redhead man. She looks rather confused. "What the heck? Where am I?" She turns toward the redhead man. "You! Do you know where I am?!"

"I haven't the slightest idea," The pale woman answers rather bluntly, looking back to the redheaded girl as she glides down. "I'm going to see where that...flying girl lands and see if she doesn't have any-what is that noise?"

The noise she's referring to is, of course, the green girl snoring, and she manages to spot her after a few moments.

"...oh! I almost thought Greg had been brought here for a moment," The pale woman idly remarks as she looks at the green girl.

Meanwhile, yet another rift opens up, this time dropping a tall, black-haired woman dressed in a purple winter coat and blue jeans.

She seems a bit surprised at first, but that quickly fades into a smile and serenity. "Ah, so the Revolutionary Army is dealing with a new Devil Fruit user, then?"

She seems completely unconcerned with the situation at hand, casually turning her head to look around as she unzips her coat to reveal a light blue shirt with a blue pattern resembling bubbles around the upper half. "Interesting...truth be told, I did miss the sense of adventure out on the Grand Line a little. This little excursion seems like a good way to both fulfill that and see how my training's been serving me."

With that, she starts walking forward, watchful eyes keeping an eye on her surroundings as she does so.
