In a new reality, there was carnage. The apocalypse had begun in this Earth-like planet. Here, battles occur often and finding corpses were common. The signal had been heard by all machines currently operating. Most had their objectives and chose to ignore it. Some, however, listened to it and started a massacre. One of the victims of the rogue AI attacks was the [DATA EXPUNGED] laboratory. A lab dedicated to creating experimental weapons, it would be no issue understanding why it was a target. So, the robots attacked the base. Several humans were killed in the massacre and the robots had stolen the weapons and their blueprints.

In that same laboratory, was the office of Dr. [REDACTED], the head engineer of the lab. The doctor had been gruesomely murdered by these robots, as his robot bodyguard had loss the battle. Unlike the doctor, the robot was still alive, several of the robots battle weapons had been torn off and destroyed or stolen. Half of his face plates were removed, exposing the molten metal inside. The robot had held on to a notebook with several torn pages. Except for one page, the page about the robot himself. The robot made a faint humming noise, hoping someone hears its distress call.

Velvet looked at her arm, still pulsing with daemonic energy. "Somethings don’t change."

Meanwhile, in a small town known as Traverse town, a lime green haired girl sits on a bench thinking about what's to come.

Meanwhile(again), in the darkness of space, large ships, some a golden-ish color, others a blue, white and grey color scheme, accompanied by smaller ships with similar color variations, slowly approach the source of the signal.

There are few if any stars visible here.

Dim lights glimmer in the depths of an otherwise impenetrable void. The AI had chosen an old, dying universe in order to watch the last few centuries of life before heat-death, when the last stars went out and the cosmos was plunged into a never-ending dark.

The source of the signal is a massive sphere of hyper-dense metal, the size of a red giant, covered in hexagrammic patterns. The patterns glow with a blood red light.

The delinquent girl grabbed her stolen baseball bat. Even though she could take on anyone at school with her bare hands, it didn’t pay to be prepared for the worst.

The vengeful man practiced his magical powers in anticipation of that demon child arriving. He was prepared for the worst. Even if he didn’t like it.

The Titanic Machine, with its servitude to the star-spawned virus, had hitched a ride on one of the Astral Meteors. It had directed it towards the source of the signal, not knowing what to expect.

The larger ships slow to a halt as some of the smaller ships with the blue coloration begin to fly over the surface of the large object for any reasoning behind the signal.

The woman running from the giant monster had dark-skin with yellow-markings all over her face.  As she entered a clearing she saw her targets.  A Kecha Wacha and a Kamu Ourugaron were engaged in a turf war.  

Not for long.  The woman thought as a Deviljho emerges from behind her, roaring in fury and catching the attention of the other two monsters.  

This was going to be....interesting.

The Astral meteor, having followed the signal, has come into sight of the ships by now. It has slowed to a stop, defying gravity in typical Astral Infection style. The Aureus on it prepares to launch itself into space if necessary. It sees the massive sphere, and observes. Waiting. And also making sure it doesn’t get blasted to pieces by either force present.

The ships are aware of the Astral meteor, but are ignoring it for now.

"The absolute nerve of those idiots to try to mess with ME while I'm recording!"

The car grumbled angrily as he drove toward his private quarters.

The girl kicked her legs around as she ate the cupcake. She's clearly full of energy.

Wooden beams blocking the exit to the workshop were kicked through by the animatronic bear, who turned its eyes up to the sky and began to speak.

"Who calls me forth? Reveal yourself."

The large ships remain on standby while the smaller ships continue to sweep the surface of the giant object.

The robot attempts to look around, it's whir for help grows louder. It keeps repeating these actions until it temporarily shuts down from the attack.

The signal intensifies as the object glows brighter. It's trying to get the fleet to leave and follow a set of instructions.

The smaller ships fly back to the large ships as the fleet of ships spin around and leave to follow... whatever instructions they might get, though why they feel the need to follow the instructions is at the moment unclear.

HK smacks his head as the signal becomes harder to ignore. He had been wandering around, looking for a ship that's still operational.

After a few minutes, the robot reactivates and attempts to stand up. After a couple tries, it manages to stand on its two legs. It grabs the parts of its body that was torn from it. It was able to reconnect the face plates, but looking at the weapons, it determined it cannot be fixed at the current state he is in, but he may be able to salvage it later. So it grabs a clean trash bag from the desk and tosses the pieces in. It walks over to the dead doctor.

"I'm sorry I failed to protect you doctor." It whirred. It opens up its face plates and starts analyzing the body, copying the doctor's memories. It then picks up the notebook, tosses it in the bag, and makes its way out the facility. The road outside was a stretch of desert, with several destroyed sheet metal houses that was presumed to be destroyed during the attack for any humans hiding in it. Not knowing when the other robots will come back, it decides not to check the bodies, but a quick look around reassured it that everyone here is dead. At this point, it analyzed its body. It noted that holes where metal were was visible, exposing the robot's inner structure. It continued onward, occasionally stopping to shut down and recharge. When the signal beeped, it ignored it as it did not want to know what it meant. It made scrapping noises from dragging itself and the trash bag of metal parts plus the notebook.

The instructions, though possibly by mistake, have also been sent to the Astrum Aureus.
It now prioritised following the instructions higher than spreading the Astral Infection. It turned the meteor around and prepared to leave the area.

The Puppet, in the meantime of his entertaining children, continued to do so, unaware that certain events would eventually unfold. It was his duty, defending and entertaining the kids of the pizzeria from bad fates.

Osoro Shidesu, leader of the Delinquents at Akademi High, left her house, heading to school late in the morning. She expected the day to be a typical, boring day, as usual.

Jim Sterling looked up. He had heard something echo through the corridors of the Unnamed Hotland Facility. The signature sound of someone landing on the ground. The Demon Child. He got up, and then heard another landing. Great. So the Demon had a partner in crime. Well, he hoped they wouldn’t interfere.
He walked towards the sound, expecting a fight. A difficult fight, but one he could win.

Astrum Aureus left the area, since it had been given no further orders than those instructions it had been given. The ones it had given priority, for now at least.

(Now I’m just waiting for the gathering of hero’s event and the knowledge of what the instructions were. Can’t and won’t do anything else until then.)

The instructions were to find and pacify civilized planets with as little mortality rate as possible, effectively installing marshal law. Once on planet was garrisoned, the instructions loop.

A few minutes later, above the planet the pizzaria is on, ships have begun appearing in the sky.

In fact, ships are appearing above every world, marking something bad about to happen.

The lime green haired girl, however, does not notice the ships above Traverse Town. For... some reason.

"Raaagh!"

Deep within a coastal forest, a loud, echoing crack causes the local birds to scatter across the sky.

The source? A boulder easily six feet tall and six feet wide...which promptly crumbles to the oddly barren ground in pieces. Actually, it seems like the wildlife doesn't touch the area around it for miles, although it probably did once judging by the jagged trunks around the area. As is, though, there's no wildlife to be seen - just a line of boulders.

That, and the orange buff woman punching them for no discernible reason.

She's tall, easily in the upper six foot range if not the seven foot range, and is wearing an outfit that mostly consists of various shades of brown. Works well with her aforementioned orange skin, as well as the red stripes running across it. There's also bits of light green and teal here and there, but that's not important. The last major thing to note about her appearance is that, while she seems like a standard humanoid otherwise, she does have uneven teal horns, and has a gem in place of her nose.

This woman - no, this Gem - stand there for a moment, looking at the ground in contempt, before promptly stomping off to the next boulder a few feet away and punching that as well, letting out a loud war cry as she does so.

Seems like she's going to be at this for a while.

In a rather low-key part of a small Japanese town, a teenage brunette dressed in a pink and white shirt and pink shorts with a purple bag slung over her shoulder sits alone on a bench. She's idly kicking her legs forward as she waits, humming a cheerful tune to herself. Then she looks to her right, pauses where she is in her humming, and gets up excitedly, waving her arm in the air. "Oh, there you are! Over here, Satsuki!"

"Mankanshoku." The girl she's addressing - a slightly older, black-haired girl with bushy eyebrows, a white, button-up shirt, and a long blue skirt - nods as she walks over to the brown-haired girl, stopping right in front of her. There's a few moments of awkward silence as the black-haired girl (Satsuki by the sounds of it) seems to wait for something, eventually looking to her left and right before finally looking at the brunette (Mankanshoku, she called her - although that seems more like a last name) in confusion. "Forgive me if I've missed something, but...why did you call me here?"

"So we can get to know each other better!" Mankanshoku cheerfully answers, a wide grin spreading across her face. "I mean, think about it! We've seen each other in action, and we've fought together in battle, but have we really talked that much? At least without Ryuko there? We haven't! It's kind of weird, isn't it?"

"That is a good point..." Satsuki nods slowly, hand on her chin as she ponders this over.

However, she doesn't get much time to think, as the younger brunette grabs her by the arm, causing her to let out a rather undignified yelp as she gets dragged along.

"Come on, I know just the place to start!"

"...did I leave one behind?"

A tall, buxom woman dressed in a nurse's uniform stands in an alleyway, looking over her variety of medical tools to see if anything is out of place. A red eye with a cross-shaped pupil narrows in disappointment as she looks over her scalpels.

"I'm getting sloppy," she shakes her head, putting away her scalpels. "If Double doesn't get to the big metal lug, he's definitely going to notice that. It won't take a genius to figure out who did in the 'good doctor' from there. And honestly? I'm not in the mood for jazz."

She looks forward. "...in any case, I better head back to the cathedral."

And thus, she starts running across the rooftops.
