Weird Occurrences

The Doom growls. The two circle Jack Frost like sharks, but out of water, and also they're snakes, so the shark thing really doesn't make sense at all. Thankfully, even if they all have the same thoughts, are capable of speech and are pretty deadly, Dooms are quite stupid. It'd probably not be hard to outsmart them.



It shrieks as it is struck and switches its focus from Crystal to Plant. It lunges forward like a striking snake. Which it kind of is, anyway.



The Doom is indeed pulled. And the slash does indeed connect. And makes an already pretty pissed Doom even more pissed, and also makes it bleed gross acidic blood. Yucky. Seriously yucky.

Tavros slumps back in his wheelchair. Okay, maybe this wasn't exactly what he was planning for today, but he'll get over it. Like most things that happen to him, just because he has shitty luck and nobody else does.

Welp. He wheels himself over to his active wheelchair and switches over to it. Thank God for this thing. It's a lot better to move around in than the shitty hospital-grade wheelchair he's used to. And comfier, too.

With that, he goes outside.

And promptly regrets it, very much, as a Doom flops down right in front of him.



Wulfis grins. "Thanks. I am actually SO hungry." Something feels wrong, at the back of his mind, but he dismisses it. For now.

Jack Frost looks at the fact that he's being circled and decides now is as good of a time as any to just freeze these guys solid and book it back towards where he knows stronger demons hang out so he can hopefully be at least semi-protected, if not just by the fact that the stronger demons would be focusing on getting rid of the Doom rather than actively helping the weaker demons. If he wanted actually protection, he'd have to get all the way back to where King Frost is, and that's slightly father out than Jack Frost thinks he'll make it if these Doom things keep showing up.

The Plant quickly sidesteps out of the way, definitely not hard for the fastest member in the group. They then spit a seed at the Doom, which rapidly grow into vines that ensnare the creature.

"I have a better idea."

Rosalina pointed her wand at one of her ears, then the other. Then she gave Palkia and Dialga a silent thumbs up.

Mia handed Wulfis the bread. "Here you go."

Zeke grins, performing another slash- he's surprisingly agile.

"YOU WANNA TUSSLE, EH? SHOW ME HOW YOU FUCKS BLEED!"

And the bread is gone as quickly as it is presented.

"Thanfs," Wulfis says, mouth full.



Dialga nods and opens its mouth. The gem on its chest begins to glow bright red and its eyes flash the same colour. A burst of blue light emanates from its mouth. Immediately, time begins to reverse--way back to before the destruction of Spatial Rift.

There is a single pink portal right in front of them.



The Doom creatures shriek and hiss. It's unfortunate that they're so weak because they haven't fully formed, like, at all. It's barely even a challenge. Although the acidic blood is turning the ground black, which is a little odd.

Well. Looks like sending Wulfis a message is out of the picture.



The Doom shrieks as it is ensnared, but its corrupting skin causes the vines to wilt and decay within moments. Whoops. It lunges, gnashing teeth.



The frozen Doom creatures look quite silly, really. Like really ugly statues. The kind you'd see on someone's verandah and think "How could anyone have that displayed?".

The other Doom creatures don't quite look like that, being unfrozen and all. They continue advancing, stupid and angry as ever.

Zeke let's out a mad cackle as he continues to slash more attacking creatures. The other person takes this moment to fire off a message to Telkin, presumably.

Jack Frost is surprisingly fast for a demon with short, stubby legs, and he's quickly icing up the ground in an attempt to trip up the Doom. He wishes he was capable of flight so he could just fly away, or maybe even just being able to jump really far, then he could just jump away.

Most of all, though, Jack Frost wishes he had just stayed home instead of exploring. Then he wouldn't even be running away in the first place. Unfortunately though, Jack Frost's younger self lacked the knowledge he has now, and decided to explore like an idiot.

The Doom is simply met with the same response as before as the Plant moves aside. They turn to their other partners, clicking at them in what is presumably anger.

Horror chuckles a bit before stepping forwards. They open their jaw wide, and from it, a beam of radiation is fired at the Doom.


The stone creature takes the map and rolls it out on the floor. It’s a map of the entire empty void they’re in, somehow.

Now the situation's just getting comedic. The Doom keep dashing forward to bite and snap and slipping up on the ice, falling flat on their gooey, serpentine faces. Unfortunately, though, their tripping often ends up with their flailing bodies falling atop other demons trying to fend them off. And seven-foot-long evil snakes aren't exactly the lightest things in the world.


The biggest of the group shrieks something as another slash forces it to collapse, and the remaining Doom flee back into the huge portal, goopy black wings sprouting from their backs. Hundreds of quartets of eyes peer down from the hole in the sky, unmoving. A few stragglers can't bring themselves to do this much and just lie there, bleeding, like the biggest of them. Chest heaving, it flops down like a wet noodle.



The Doom makes an odd screech as its body melts partially. More portals crack open mid-air. Ohhh boy.

"We should probably find somewhere less...out in the open.  The Lost roam around here."  Mia stated as Wulfis ate the bread.

"Okay, I think we got far enough away."  Harpy states after the trio ran for a certain time.

Well now Jack Frost can't stop running because he knows for a fact he's now drawn the ire of multiple other demon clans. The only thing he can do is run and pray to whatever hears his prayer that he doesn't get caught and he can get to a safe place.

"Now quit assaulting us over some dude we ain't fuckon' heard of and THEN we can talk, mmkay?"

"Sure." Wulfis nods. "I know a place we can go, if you like."



As the trio move away, the portals behind them begin to make things just a little weirder. The gravity shifts and changes just below them and in their vicinity--not enough to make any planet-wide upsets, but just enough to make the air feel a little strange.



"BLEGH." The Doom spits at him. "YOU ARE OF NO USSSSE TO USSSS, UNLESSSS YOU CAN TELL USSSS WHERE WULFISSSS ISSSS."



Lucky for Jack Frost, a different portal appears. It's blue, not so sickeningly pink. Hmm. Is it reeeeaaaally trustworthy, though?

"Again. Don't know no goddamn Wulfis. You wanna speak to the Condesce? She's like fifty miles out at least."

"...PERHAPSSSS," it replies. "WOULD THISSSS...CONDESSSSCE KNOW HIM? WE HAVE NEVER HEARD OF HER."

"....Okay. So let me get this straight. You know about Alternia, but *not* the person who owns everything on it basicslly?":

"Uh, sure I guess." Mia shrugged.

Levia sneezed randomly. "Ugh, excuse me."

"You okay?" Nata asked, to which Levia nodded.

Jack Frost pauses for a second, considering his options. He could stay here and either be killed by the weird monsters or opposing demon clans, or he could go through the blue portal that may or may not kill him, but is definitely different from the other portals in the area.

Jack Frost decides to go with the latter choice, as he will for sure end up dead if he sticks around, and jumps into the blue portal.

"Well, be prepared for a little disorientation." That's the only warning Wulfis gives before he shoots a blast of blinding light from his mouth, which surrounds the two quickly and makes it impossible to see for a few seconds.

"Here we go."

They reappear on a gloomy beach. There's two moons in the sky, one green, one tiny and pink. Oh boy, here we go indeed.

"Cool method of travel, huh?" Wulfis grins and wags his tail as if he didn't bring a near-total stranger to another place in an entirely different dimension.

He fails to notice the huge portal in the sky.



"...WE'RE ONLY HERE FOR WULFISSSS..." It looks a little sheepish. That's a startlingly high amount of emotion for a Doom.



The blue portal takes Jack Frost directly into the Spatial Rift, where Palkia has set itself the task of cleaving apart any forming portals with Spacial Rend. It's not really working, but it's trying, at least.

One said Spacial Rend nearly splits Jack Frost in half, and probably would have if he were a few feet closer. Palkia takes no notice.

(That sent weird. Whoops. Sorry if you saw the fucked up version.)

"Wher- What the hee-ll! Watch where you're throwing out attacks!" Jack Frost is quite offended that what he's assuming is one weird looking demon isn't actually paying attention to the moves they're throwing around. He's not actually sure what he just nearly got hit with, but he figures it's more than powerful enough to kill him, and the utter nonchalance it's being tossed around with is what offends him. He might not be an important demon, but he cherishes his own life, damnit!

"HM?" Palkia turns and stares. "HOW DID YOU GET HERE?! ARE YOU HERE TO TEAR THE FABRIC OF SPACE?!" It moves closer. "PERHAPS...PERHAPS YOU ARE THE CAUSE OF THESE ACCURSED PORTALS?!"

"Uhhh." Mia looks up at the portal in the sky.

Rosalina could feel herself speaking, but she couldn't hear the words she had said.

"Am I allowed to make myself hear again?"
