Weird Occurrences

"SSSSOON...EVERYTHING WILL BE OURSSSS!"

The creature lunges forward, acidic venom dripping from a mouth laden by razor-sharp teeth.



"Nearly got here too late."

A red-furred dragon appears out of nowhere next to Mia. It makes a funny motion with its front paws, and the warping and distorting slowly grinds to a halt.

"Odd. They don't usually start bending reality this early on."

Harpy jumps forward, slamming her foot into the side of the creature with enough force to stagger it.

"Huh? Who are you?" Mia raised an eyebrow at the dragon.

"Oh!" The dragon shrugs. "I don't know." It grins toothily. "People usually call me Wulfis."

It makes another strange gesture with its front paws.

"These portals are a problem."




The creature snarls and slumps down into an amorphous puddle.

"RRGHH...MEDDLING CREATURESSSS..."



Meanwhile, on the apocalypse-stricken Earth, yet another portal begins its formation.

In a whole other verison of Earth, once again post apocalyptic as is typical for worlds coming towards the end of their cycle and towards Conception, a small, stout demon is staring up at the strange portals. Already have more powerful demons gone to check these portals that are encroaching on the territory of many a different demons, and the demon is wondering if these demons are going to start bickering and fighting, or just leave each other alone.

Jack Frost turns away while humming a quiet tune, knowing that whatever the other demons do really doesn't concern a neutral demon like himself as long as he's not dragged into it. And, if he's not there, he can't be dragged into it! He has better things to do anyways.

And then, there's somewhere that's just straight up not Earth at all.
The night is a deep reddish-pink, two moons- one hot pink, one neon lime green- reflecting light from a staggeringly powerful star. The scene would descend on a cave which seems empty.
Seems.

This is disproved by a burst of raucous, impish howling and laughter, and a sharp, annoyed grunt.

Crack. A new portal spawns itself right next to the little demon. This one's a little darker than the rest, and certainly more active.

Well, that's odd.



As if that grey planet wasn't fucked up already, there's a huuuuge portal smack bang in the middle of the sky. It tears into a massive X-shape with a violent scratching sound. Completely out of nowhere. Kind of frightening, really.

Oddly, it's a lot more colourful than the others. It swirls rainbow like a vat of mixed dyes. It feels like doom itself.

"Is there a way to close it?" Mia asked. "Oh, my name's Mia by the way."

Levia unleashed another wave of energy onto the puddle. "Just go away!"

(Interesting rp, can I join with Puppet, Ben 10, and Ash and his Pokemon?)

(Sure! But do you mean the Puppet as in the FNaF one? Just need to clarify.)

With a final hiss, whatever the creature was evaporates and disappears. The air feels tense, sparking with danger.

Another portal forms nearby.



"Wellllll..." Wulfis makes a face. "I don't think I really know how to close it. I'll probably figure out later. For now, it's just deactivated." He pauses for a second, then gives her a quizzical look. "Are there any more around? And do you know where they come from?"

(Yes.)

(Awesome. Added.)

"That was the only one I saw. I can’t exactly check every nook and cranny." Mia huffed, gesturing to the landscape around them.

"Are you fucking serious?!" Nata turns around, hurtling one part of his sword-whip thing at the other portal.

The sound of the portal causes some arguing.

Then, out of the cave comes a curious, gray-skinned humanoid. Slightly luminous yellow eyes are narrowed, and gently dilate in surprise at the X. One hand gripped around a solid steel, leather-grip knife (faint specks of crusted blood on the hilt, but shiny, with a mirror-blank sharpening on the cutting edge) flushed a strange yellow-green around the knuckles as it tightens, slightly sharpened fingernails digging into his palm. Faintly exposed teeth (some of them sharp, in a jigsaw pattern) become more exposed as the jaw on his angular face drops a bit. The flashing catches his glasses, and for a moment space between space and time beyond time conspire to create a cosmic coincidence as his pose mirrors that of another of his species- doomed though that member will be to die, incinerated to ash.

"That's true, I suppose," agrees Wulfis. "I'm just worried about it. I've been sensing their arrivals all over the place." He sighs. "Troublesome, you know. I'm just hoping it doesn't spread to Alternia. I haven't checked yet..."



If the other portals were bad news enough, THIS portal is the worst of it. Jagged on the edges, alive with a seething mass of monstrous creatures with scales of rainbow and black, all biding their time to strike just at the right moment. Hideous and horrible.



The portal lightens in colour as it receives the blow and all of a sudden, clusters of portals begin to spread everywhere, like some kind of hyperactive rash. Again, creatures writhe in their depths.

A voice befitting of its speaker- sharp, precise, and oddly British- emanated from the gray man. He was a little scared.

"Zekiel. Zekiel, get out here right now. ......Call Telkin."

Out comes a taller man, noticeably less slim and noticeably stronger. Some strings of hair hang loosely down in his face as his eyes widen a bit. Unlike the other, Zekiel's voice is laidback and lax, though there's a strong note of concern in it.

".....Uh.... the fuck."

There’s shrieking and hissing and growling coming. It’s like a big pile of snakes.

Only it’s in the sky.

And all of the snakes are four-eyed, seven metres long and can spit burning acid.

Well. Ain’t that just lovely?

And as if that weren’t lovely enough, some of them have begun to fall down. Onto the ground. Some of them very nearby.

A few other portals began to open near the main group of heroes. One spat out a music box, which revealed a great marionette animatronic. Another produced a green-eyed, brown-haired teenager with a watch. And a third produced a boy in mostly blue clothes, with a yellow mouse, and several red and white balls.

"Well shit." Nata mutters as he looks at all the portals. "I don’t know if we're getting out of this."

Levia whimpers and clings to Harpy's arm, scared.

"I don’t know where that is, but can you explain what exactly is going on?" Mia asked, curiously.

"........Thaaaaaaat ain't good."

"Hang on..."

Rosalina took a step backward and pointed her wand at the portal, closing her eyes and attempting to focus on closing the portal. This most likely wouldn't work, but it was worth a shot... right?

(To also make sure I know what's going on, is everyone together in the same place right now?)

The marionette animatronic looked out, noticing all the people that were nearby.

(not in the slightest)

(Oh, then are there specific groups, just to make sure I have a good idea of things, and who's in them?)

(I don't think anyone except for a select few characters have even left their worlds yet 6f)

Jack Frost stares at the portal for a moment, before turning away. "Oh hee-ll no, not doing this some other demon can d-hee-ll with that, I am just fine right here ignoring that."

The forming portal catches the green creature’s attention. Interested, Horror approaches it.

Crystal looks over at them and sighs as she finishes fixing up the Plant’s wounds.

Immediately, the Plant quickly runs over to follow Horror.
