Joker seems completely unaffected by the glare as he turns to Hunter and defends his parents honor, ignoring Fawn for now. "Hey, don't lump me in with Akechi here. My parents loved me."

"Now is not the time for witty remarks, Joker." Akechi growls. "I, for one, would like to leave this place with minimal casualties, believe it or not."

"You failed to kill me last time, and I genuinely want to know what makes you think you'll succeed this time." Joker turns back to Akechi, dead serious.

"He just said he didn't want to kill anyone, damn."

"Oh, Joker." Akechi breaks his glare with a slight chuckle. "Who said anything about you being the one to end up dead? There are plenty of others around for me to...dispose of, if I were to get too angry." Akechi turns his gaze away from Joker. "However, as I said before, I don't particularly want it to come to that. I'd much rather we work together, for now, to figure out this mess."

The abomination shut his mouth tightly.

The Fawn seemed to realize that was a threat and recoiled, backing away with a whimper.

The armless woman turned a glare toward Akechi, momentarily, before turning toward her companion, trying to calm her.

"You're scaring people again. You couldn't have gone at least ten minutes before making your usual mean comments?"

Sayori remained silent as she cautiously moved away from the group towards the nearest bench and sat on it, her head in her hands.

"Don't bother asking a question you already know the answer to." Akechi scoffs.

Yuri looks up from her phone. "Okay, I've got a path set - if we go this way, we should be able to meet up with the others brought here and figure out what's going on. Who's coming with me?"

Ajna raises her hand near immediately.

The lobster girl, not really engaged in the argument Joker and Akechi are having, takes note of Sayori moving away from the group and sitting alone.

Looking concerned, the lobster girl takes a moment to step out of the group and then walk up next to Sayori.

"???" She lets out a quiet squeak, putting a hand on Sayori's shoulder and looking closely at her.

In the meantime, Pit is just watching the argument, head darting from Joker to Akechi like it's a tennis match.

Sayori looked up at the lobster girl and softly smiled.

"Oh, hello again..."

"Well, I don't know what else there is to do, if anything, so..."

Vannie slowly raised her hand as well.

Seth, Sera, and Sarah all raised their hands.

"Perhaps it would be best if you two stood as far from each other as possible." The long-haired blonde woman suggested to Joker and Akechi.

"That won't be necessary." Akechi glances over to her. "I believe we can both remain civil, can't we, Joker?"

The glitched character hesitates, then raises his hand. He doesn’t want to scare her anymore (or anyone else, for that matter), but he’s feel more useless than usual just standing around.

"Probably," Joker answers. "We'll have to wait and see what else gets thrown at us first."

"I guess that’s the best we can hope for right now." The long-haired blonde shrugged.

After a moment of counting hands, Yuri nods. "Alright...then let's get going."

She looks at her phone, then starts walking off, with Ajna close behind her.

"???" The lobster girl repeats her last squeak, keeping her gaze on Sayori as she scuttles to...well, not sit next to Sayori, since she can't exactly fit on the bench with her lobster half and all, but as close as she can get to sitting next to her.

Meanwhile, Palutena suddenly speaks up in Pit's mind. "Pit, I'm detecting two presences heading this way - one is definitely divine in some capacity, and seems...oddly familiar..."

"Wait, really! Nice!" Pit pumps his arm.

"I'm not finished yet; it's the other presence that's got me worried. Mainly because I can't figure out what it is...only that it shouldn't be here. The divine presence should get here first, but be on guard, alright?"

"I can't exactly understand you, but I assume you want to know what's wrong... I trust you with keeping a secret, so..."

Sayori leaned in the direction of the lobster girl and began to whisper in her ear.

"My parents used to fight like that all the time... it got really violent. Eventually they broke up and Dad left. I still live with Mom, she's just... never home anymore."

The rest of my characters with Yuri's group follow her.

Sayori's eyes widened as she scrambled away from the lobster girl and back to where she was originally seated.

"You can't just walk up on people like that! You scared me half to death!"

She took a deep breath before continuing.

"...and plus, I thought I already said my name!"

She then turned back to the lobster girl and tilted her head.

"...did I?"

The lobster girl seems to think for a moment when she's asked the question, then, after a long pause, slowly shrugs. Judging by her slight frown and furrowed brows, she's not satisfied with that answer, but it's the best she's got.

After that, she scuttles over to Sayori and turns to look at Echo, her expression unchanging.
